I was born in Poland, raised in Germany, and have called Australia home for over 15 years. This diverse background has given me invaluable life experiences, allowing me to deeply understand and support clients navigating a wide range of complex challenges.
Living with Endometriosis, I know pain both as a quiet companion and a consuming force. This personal journey led me to explore the mindbody connection, beginning with Dr. John Sarno’s groundbreaking work on Tension Myoneural Syndrome ( TMS). His insights laid the foundation for my understanding of chronic pain as a reversible, nervous system-based process. I later trained in the Freedom from Chronic Pain program and continue to be informed by the work of Dr. Howard Schubiner, Hal Greenham, Alan Gordon, and Dr. David D. Clarke.
As both a parent and a former preschool teacher in Germany and Australia, I understand the many complexities of parenthood. Combined with my training as a Psychotherapist and Counsellor, this experience allows me to offer meaningful and attuned support to parents. My approach is informed by the Aware Parenting philosophy developed by Aletha Solter, Ph.D., which emphasises empathy, connection, and emotional understanding. I support parents with practical tools and deeper insight to foster cooperation, strengthen relationships, and nurture their children’s healthy emotional development.
Beyond parenthood and pain management, my work encompasses a broad range of mental health and well-being challenges. Rooted in the principles of Gestalt Therapy and inspired by Somatic Psychotherapy, Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, and Polyvagal Theory, I integrate Psychotherapy and Counselling with a trauma-informed approach. This holistic perspective allows me to tailor support to each individual, considering their struggles as a whole—honoring the present moment, past wounds, and the relational dynamics that shape their experience with others and the world around them.
Sessions are available in English, German & Polish languages.
All sessions are $AUD 130 / 60 min
Moving Beyond Pain - Initial assessment : $AUD 200 / 120 min
The Moving Beyond Pain approach integrates modern neuroscience with compassionate, trauma-informed care. It’s not about blaming your mind for the pain—it’s about understanding how mind and body work together, and how we can use that connection to shift the pain response.
You can think of it as retraining your brain and nervous system.
By helping the body feel safe again, and teaching the brain to interpret signals differently, we reduce pain and other symptoms naturally, from the inside out.
Gestalt therapy is a form of psychotherapy that focuses on an individual’s present state and is primarily concerned with enhancing self-awareness to help you overcome your challenges and make the choices you need.
Gestalt therapy views the therapeutic relationship as integral, utilizing it as a catalyst for change and growth.
Depth Enquiry™ is a transformative therapeutic approach that helps integrate implicit memories, release stuck thought patterns, and resolve trauma, anxiety, phobias, and deep-seated shame.
Developed by Amanda Gruhn through her extensive work with clients experiencing PTSD and trauma-related symptoms, Depth Enquiry gently unblocks resistant traumas and negative beliefs, providing a supportive and fluid healing process.
Nature Based Therapy, or ecotherapy, is a healing approach that invites individuals to engage with the natural world as an active partner in therapy. Grounded in our innate connection to nature, it involves practices like mindful walking, stillness, and interacting with natural elements to foster presence, emotional regulation, and deeper self-awareness.
Nature is seen not as a backdrop but as a co-therapist—offering insight, containment, and a sense of connection. Whether addressing anxiety, grief, trauma, or disconnection, this approach helps clients find clarity and grounding in ways that often feel more embodied and intuitive than traditional talk therapy.
Aware Parenting, developed by Dr. Aletha Solter, is a respectful, attachment-based approach that emphasizes empathy, connection, and emotional understanding. It views all behavior as communication and encourages parents to respond with compassion rather than punishment or rewards. By supporting children’s emotional expression—such as crying or tantrums—as natural ways to release stress, and setting loving, clear boundaries, Aware Parenting helps foster secure attachment, cooperation, and emotional resilience in children.
